Program Structure

Part 1 – Bridging Impact & the Foundations of Family Ownership

📍 Oslo, Norway

The journey begins with Bridging Impact, a concept and program developed by Nordic Family Office. Here, you are given the space to work on self-insight, values, and patterns—to discover what authentic leadership and ownership mean to you.

The core question is:
How can I lead myself—toward good choices and decisions—before I lead others and manage the family legacy?

Through theory, reflection, dialogue, and practical exercises, the foundation is laid to meet the family business’s opportunities and challenges with clarity and integrity.

You will explore:

• Responsibilities and opportunities related to family businesses and family wealth
• Your own direction, vision, and purpose
• Family dynamics, values, and identity
• Personal behavior patterns and interpersonal relationships

This part combines physical gatherings and digital sessions, helping you grow both as an individual and as part of a family system.

Part 2 – Business Understanding and Strategic Insight

📍 Milan, Italy – SDA Bocconi School of Management

The second part of the program is conducted at one of Europe’s leading business schools and consists of two intensive 4-day modules, supplemented by digital learning between sessions.

Here, you will gain academic depth with a focus on the unique frameworks of family businesses, including:

• Sustainability and ESG
• Change management and conflict resolution
• Capital and risk strategies
• People and talent development
• Business development and innovation

You will also:

• Visit Italian family businesses and family offices
• Meet renowned leaders with experience from family enterprises
• Participate in a Deep Dive Focus Session: “Venturing with Your Own Family Capital”—a unique opportunity to explore entrepreneurship and venture building with the family’s capital and values
